The Eagles are led by seniors Chase Brown, Ryan Jones, Eli Peña & Cameron Riordan.
The girls main event is the varsity 4 where they will compete against a field of 51 entries. The Lady Eagles are led by Casey Herron, Lilly Corcoran, Julia Latham, Giana Middleton & Alanna Malcolm. Go Eagles!
SOFTBALL
After a slow start to the season, girls softball is finishing strong. We have won 4 in a row and 5 of our last 6 games!
The last 2 games have been great team efforts with a 12-1 win over Lenape and then a 2-0 over Eastern.
Laura Mack led the way for the Lady Eagles against Lenape with 3 hits including a double and 3 RBIS. Spatocco, Jones, Del Re, Velardi, and Van Dine all had at least 1 hit and 1 RBI for the Lady Eagles. Gabi Jones Earned the win and Skye Loges the save on the mound.
Against Eastern, Laura Mack led the Lady Eagles with a triple and a Sac Fly while Sofia Spatocco also had a triple and both Elizabeth Mayer and Kaci Velardi added hits. On the mound Gabi JOnes threw a complete game shut out allowing only 3 hits and striking out 9.
BOYS TENNIS
Boys Tennis is having a stellar season so far. While we recently took a loss to Cedar Creek (taking away our title of being undefeated - we are still sad about it), we are now tied for first place within our division. This is very impressive as last year we were first in the 3rd division which bumped us up to the 2nd division where we continue to really make an impact. Our record is 6-1 in the National Division. Our overall record is 9-6 with loses mostly to the 1st division conference. We have two more season matches left to go. Absegami will be Monday, May 19th and our Conference Title Match is scheduled for May 28th at home (4pm) not to mention Playoffs somewhere in between. Let's hope the weather holds up. It's been rough out there for Spring sports.
