Superintendent's Weekly Update

A NOTE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
June 4, 2026
Dear PUSD Staff and Families,
Today marks the final day of the 2026–27 school year.
Across our district, students are celebrating promotions, graduations, and the completion of another year of learning, growth, and achievement. Some are preparing for middle school, others for high school, and many of our graduates are taking their next steps into college, careers, military service, or other exciting opportunities. Wherever that path leads, today is an important milestone worth celebrating.
Today’s ceremonies remind us that while each student's journey is unique, the stories behind their success share much in common. Students have worked hard to overcome challenges and reach their goals. Families have provided encouragement, support, and guidance along the way. Educators and staff have invested countless hours helping students learn, grow, and thrive. Success is rarely the result of one person alone. It is built through partnership, perseverance, and a community that believes in its students.
To our students, congratulations on all you have accomplished this year. To our families, thank you for your partnership and trust. And to our staff, thank you for the care, expertise, and dedication you bring to this work each day. The impact you make extends far beyond a single school year.
I hope everyone has an opportunity this summer to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming our students back in August and beginning another great year together.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026, and congratulations to all of our students on a successful school year.
Have a great summer,
Ben
