Panther Weekly

March is Theatre In Our Schools month, a time when we celebrate and raise awareness of the power of #TheatreInOurSchools to develop well-rounded, empathetic, and thoughtful leaders. It a time when thousands of students, educators, and supporters join in grassroots campaigns that highlight how participation in school theatre programs helps students develop critical skills that will benefit them in their future careers regardless of whether they pursue arts after graduation.

During the break, Parkview Wrestling had three young men and women compete at the state tournament. The wrestling team celebrated two state placers: Adam Cox secured 5th place in the 150-pound category, while Antoine Glasgow triumphed in the 165-pound division, becoming Parkview's first state champion since 2015. Please join us in congratulating these young gentlemen for their dedication, hard work, and remarkable achievements at this year's state tournament.

Congratulations to Abby Liwosz for winning one of two major awards! She received the BEST IN SHOW title for her three-dimensional artwork, specifically for her stunning ceramic sculpture. In recognition of her achievement, she was also awarded a check!

Please congratulate the Parkview Dance Team. This past Saturday they competed at the GHSA Sectionals Dance competition. The girls did amazing and they came in 7th overall and are about of the sweet sixteen headed to compete at State this Saturday in Athens GA.

On February 11, 2025 the National Technical Honor Society at Parkview High School held a meeting featuring guest speakers Courtney Johnson and Nigusse Eddo.
