Robo readers program - read to win HOCKEY tickets!
The purpose of the Robo’s Readers Program is to encourage students in local classrooms (K-6), to read as many books as possible and serve as a tracking device to show their progress. The Penguins will then reward each student who reads 10 books with one (1) free voucher for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins home game on Saturday, April 1st. Parents will be able to purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate of $19 , $22, or $24 depending on where you sit.
Below are the specifics for the Robo’s Reader program:
- We have one more Robo Reader game scheduled on Saturday, April 1st. Each student who reads 10 books between January 23rd and March 3rd will earn one free voucher for the April 1st game.
Here are some directions on how to redeem your voucher: Online, over the phone, or in person
- You will be able to redeem your ROBO’s Readers vouchers online with a link to be provided at a later date.
- Please call me at 570-970-3605 and I will make arrangements for your tickets to be mailed, emailed, or text.
- Vouchers can be redeemed at The Toyota Sportsplex, which is at 40 Coal Street in Wilkes-Barre, about a mile down the street from the arena during the hours of M-F 9 am to 5pm. The vouchers are not redeemable at the arena or at the game – ONLY at the Toyota Sportsplex at Coal Street before 5pm on April 1st.
The classroom that reads the most books in the K-3 range and in the 4-6 range will be entitled to a pizza party in their school, with special “guest delivery” made by Penguins players, team mascot “Tux,” and a gift from the Penguins.
Please contact Colby by phone at 570-970-3605, or via email at cgaugler@wbspenguins.com with any questions you might have.
