End of Year Medication Pick up and Disposal

As we wrap up another school year, all medications and supplies must be picked up from the health office by the end of the school day on Thursday, June 4, 2026

• If you have medications in the health office, you will receive an email from the school nurse with detailed instructions regarding pick up.

• We do not store any medications over the summer. Any medication remaining after June 4, 2026 will be properly disposed in accordance with Food and Drug Administration Safe Disposal of Medications guidance at the Arlington Heights Police Department.

Our 5th graders did an amazing job at the school Wax Museum! Students dressed as important historical figures, became “wax statues,” and brought history to life by sharing facts about their characters. What a creative and educational experience for everyone!

Congratulations to one of our Ivy Eagle's for winning the chance to travel to school in a fire truck! What an exciting and memorable way to start the school day!

Student registration is now due for families who have not yet completed it. The district is requesting online registrations to be completed by the end of May. If you have not already done so, please complete your child’s registration immediately.

If you did not receive the registration link, or if your child will not be returning next year, you must notify the office at ihoffice@sd25.org as soon as possible.

Please note: registration must be completed in order for your child to be enrolled for next year.

During our upcoming Field Day, students will be given Jonny Pops to eat and then use wet wipes to clean off their hands and face. Please find the ingredients below for each. If your child can NOT have the Jonny Pops due to an allergy, please contact the school office ASAP so we can provide an alternative.

Regular attendance at school is an essential part of each student’s educational experience in District 25. If your child will be absent, we ask that you report the absence using the method designated for your school, listed below.

If the school office has not been notified of a child’s absence by 9:05 a.m., the school will contact the parent/guardian. If they cannot be reached, the school will attempt to contact the emergency contacts listed on the student’s emergency form (included in the registration packet).

These procedures are in place to ensure families are informed each day and that all students are accounted for and safe.

Every day that your child is not in school, is late or is leaving early the office needs to know!! There are three ways to notify us and they are available 24 hours a day!

1. Our GOOGLE FORM - just write in the information - you don't have to talk to anyone!

2. Our ATTENDANCE HOT LINE - Just call 847-398-4275 (the main number) and press 1 - leave us a message.

3. Email office - ihoffice@sd25.org

If you don't notify us, we are required to call you so PLEASE let us know if your child is absent, late or leaving early!!
