Practice ACT for All Juniors
On Tuesday, November 12th all juniors will be taking a practice ACT test during the school day. Students will be placed in either the main or south gym. Due to the shortened late-start day, all juniors will be called out of periods 1-6. The school cafeteria will be making boxed lunches for the students and they will be delivered to the gyms. Students can bring lunch from home, but will not be allowed to leave campus for lunch.
The practice test will be taken on iPads in order to prepare using the same platform on which they will take the real ACT in April. Therefore, it is imperative that all students bring a charged iPad to school for the day. In addition, the junior students will complete their senior year planning with help from the guidance counselors who will be working with students at the beginning of the day.

Pop Tab Collection to Benefit Ronald McDonald Foundation
The Educators Rising Club is rolling out its first service project of the year, a collection of pop tabs! These Pop Tabs will benefit the Ronald McDonald Foundation, which provides families with a place to stay for no cost, while their child is receiving treatment for a life-threatening illness at a nearby hospital.
- We will be placing collection jars in various spots around the school...the library, the Viking corner, the main office, various department offices, etc.
- Pop tabs can come from many different things: soup cans, soda, sparkling water, etc. Anything you may have to contribute would be such a big help to this cause! Please collect at home and bring them in periodically.

Thank you in advance for your support,

Calling all Veterans!
Fremd High School will be hosting a Veterans Q&A Panel on Friday, November 8, 2024. If you are/or know a Veteran and are in some way connected to the FHS/greater Palatine area community, we'd love to have you participate. If you have any questions please contact Courtney Billittier at cbillittier@d211.org or 847-755-2826.
