After School Games
For families that are new to Poole MS, we do have a few protocols for students attending games after school. Students must go home on game days. There is no staff supervision between the end of the day and the start of games. To attend games, students must be accompanied by an adult, 18 or over, that will stay with them for the duration of the game. SCPS has a clear bag policy for all sporting events

The National Math Club
The National Math Club is a math enrichment program created by the MATHCOUNTS foundation. H. H. Poole's chapter meets every other Tuesday during lunches. This year's first meeting will take place on September 1st. Any student who enjoys math is welcome to participate. While it's not required for all members, some mathletes may also choose to compete later this school year. (Math Club is not intended to provide help with students' mathematics assignments and is not a tutoring program.) If your child would like to participate, please complete this Google Form by Friday, August 28th. Please reach out to Mrs. DeFiore Wood (defiorewoodar@staffordschools.net) or Mrs. Price (pricesj@staffordschools.net) with any questions about the National Math Club.
7th Grade Families ONLY
Please reference the email that was sent August 18th in reference to Signs of Suicide.
Emergency Contacts
Please ensure your student's emergency contacts include at least one local adult who can arrive quickly if a parent or primary guardian cannot be reached. Having a trusted contact nearby helps us handle unexpected illnesses or other emergencies. You can update this is ParentVue.

HHP PTO Updates
Communication with Families
Staff members are expected to respond/communicate with families within 24 business/school hours, when possible. To be clear, staff are not expected to respond to parents that email them after school hours and on the weekends. That time should be devoted to their families, to rest and to recuperate.
Safety Drills
For the safety and security of our students, certain drills must take place. We will conduct an evacuation and lockdown drill within the first month of school.
Front Office Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Please call the school to schedule any meetings or appointments at 540.658.6190.
