Cookies, Cocoa & Christmas Trees
Join the holiday fun with this multigenerational event at the Shoemakers' Holly Spring Farm starting around 2PM on Sunday, December 7. The farm is located at 1378 Turnpike Road, Mills River. We'll cut a tree for the fellowship foyer while enjoying cocoa and cookies. If you're looking for a large tree for your home, a few additional trees will be available for cutting.
Becoming part of a choir is more than making music—it’s building community. Singing together strengthens confidence, reduces stress, and creates a sense of belonging that’s hard to find anywhere else. Whether you’re child's a seasoned vocalist or brand-new to group singing, choir offers a joyful space to learn, grow, and connect.
Give your child the chance to lift their voice, share the harmony, and discover how good it feels to be part of something bigger than themselves! Sign-up today!

Ways to Get Involved and Help Others
UUFH is partnering with Interfaith Assistance Ministries (IAM), to get food, clothing, blankets, and personal hygiene items to those who need them.
If you are in a position to give, you are strongly encouraged to bring your food, warm clothing, and hygiene donations to UUFH or take them to IAM directly and get a receipt for the UUFH office. Keeping track of receipts is helpful for writing grants and internal bookkeeping.
Donors have options. You can drop off donations at the UU office across the street from the sanctuary Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between 10-2PM or you can drop off the donations into the donation wagon in the foyer on Sunday mornings immediately before or immediately after the service.
Food Drives
Food donations are still very much needed. Thanks for bringing donations to UUFH and for volunteering to drive donations to IAM!

Note: There's a clothing donation bin in the UUFH foyer and another set up in the Fellowship Hall. Clothing donations are accepted at the same times as the food donations: M,T, TH from 10-2 and Sunday mornings 9-11:30 or so.
Bedding and Toiletries Drives
Everyone deserves to be warm and feel safe! Your donations make a difference. Click here for a list of bedding and personal hygiene items needed at IAM. These donations can be placed with the food donations to go to IAM.
