Welcome to a New School Year!

IB Exam Registrations

Please have students use the link below to complete the personal information required to complete registration for the May 2026 exams. This includes listing a personal email address that is NOT associated with their CNUSD accounts. The personal email address is utilized to give them access to their IB profile and IB scores. Please have your students complete the form ASAP so I can register them for their respective exams.

IB Exam Fee Waivers

All IB exams are $129 each. Students will receive an invoice in mid-to-late September. Cash payments can be made to the Student Store. Debit or Credit Card payments will be made online with a 3% added processing fee. All payments must be made by October 31st.

If you believe your student may qualify for exam fee waivers, please log into Parent Connect and select Registrations. In the Registration section, you will find a question that asks if we have permission to view your financial information to determine eligibility for the fee waiver. Students who qualify for fee waivers will be charged $5 per exam. Please complete this ASAP.

With 45 points available, students must score 24 points to formally earn their diploma and 30 points to make themselves potentially eligible for sophomore standing among the CSU and UC system of schools. IBSA Fundraisers

We are currently operating without an IB Booster Board. For this reason, I am asking for your help and involvement. Fundraisers offset the costs of the IB Exams where eligible, fund events such as the IB Junior/Senior Dinner Dance and pay for graduation stoles. In the absence of robust fundraising, these costs will be passed on to IB families to ensure students continue to receive the graduation regalia and celebrations to honor their accomplishments.

Here's how YOU can help:

  1. Football Stadium Clean-Up
IBSA receives $300 per game in which we clean up the stadium seats following football games. If you or your student are attending a game, we encourage you to stick around for 30-45 mins so we can help our Husky community. Service hours can be earned with these events.
  2. September
-At a date to be determined, we will be hosting a fundraiser in partnership with White Lyon. 20% of the proceeds will be given to IBSA. Help us spread the word by sharing the flyers when they are released.
-We will also be hosting monthly Zoom meetings to plan for our IB Day of Service on November 15, 2025 and the IB International Festival on Feb 17, 2026. If you and/or members of our community would like to participate in either event, please plan on joining the first meeting on Monday, September 8th at 6 pm. Zoom link available below.
  3. October
We will host a Sees Candy Fundraiser. Link will be made available. Please share our flyer and link to our store between Oct 15 - Oct 31. 20% of all proceeds will come back to IBSA.
  4. November
On Saturday November 15th we will host our first annual IB Day of Service. Various student groups will be working with different non-profit organizations including the Surfriders Foundation, a Pitbull Rescue and Color a Smile to give back to the community. If you know of a non-profit organization we can provide service for, we would love your help and collaboration to their benefit. Join our Sept 8th planning meeting on Zoom to help us kick off this event.
  5. December
-IB Cookies & Cocoa Reunion will reunite our current seniors with graduated IB students. Come and hear about their college adventures
-IB Skate Party will be held at IceTown in Riverside in celebration of our 1st semester growth!
  6. February
-On February 10th, we will have a fundraiser in partnership with Panda Express. 20% of all proceeds comes back to IBSA
-On February 17th, we will host our 2nd Annual IB International Festival. Performers and volunteers from all areas of our CNUSD community are welcome! Admissions will be $2 per person!

As you can see, we have a lot planned in the coming months. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Please come plan events with us, spread the word on our fundraisers or contact me to find out how you can help!

IB Team Calendar

The IB Team Calendar linked below is a collaboration of all IB teachers in an effort to alert students of major deadlines in their respective courses. Students are encouraged to check the calendar frequently to manage their time and energy in a sustainable way. If they are unsure about an upcoming deadline, all students should speak directly to their teachers to discuss their questions and concerns.

Parents: You can help by reminding them to check in on this calendar, advocate for themselves in class and help them balance their outside obligations and responsibilities. We are focused on developing healthy, happy and balanced life long learners!

Please be advised, these dates are subject to change!

Major deadlines for DP and MYP students can be found here! Please open this document with your students and discuss upcoming deadlines as well as how to manage them.
