Week of September 28th to October 2nd Week of September 28th to October 2nd

Congratulations to our 8th graders for finishing their Historical Figures project!

If your family no longer has a need for the costume that your child wore for Historical Figures, please consider donating it to the school. We are happy to store and loan out costumes for future years. Check out the photo below to see some of history's most prominent figures playing lunchtime basketball.

Also a big congratulations to the newly reclassified students!

We had a great time celebrating with them and their families this Thursday. It is a huge accomplishment to be designated as proficient in multiple languages, and we are so proud of them.

Please join us for the first ELAC meeting of the year next Tuesday!

ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee) brings families and school staff together to learn about programs and supports for English Learners, and your participation gives families an important voice in our school community. Please remember - your voice matters!

Even if your student has already reclassified as fluent in English, we still strongly encourage you to join us! There is so much valuable information to learn and many opportunities to stay connected and involved throughout the year. Our ELAC meetings will be led by Dr. Gerry Lopez, who will be with us throughout the year sharing information, resources, and opportunities to support our students and families.
