NATIONAL JR. BETA CLUB MISSION STATEMENT
To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
Students who make As and Bs and have a heart for community service are invited to join National Junior Beta Club. National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for more than 80 years, it has prepared today's students to be tomorrow's leaders.
ACHIEVEMENT - Recognizing and honoring high academic achievement
CHARACTER - Preparing young people for life and empowering them to be successful
LEADERSHIP - Developing the leaders of tomorrow
SERVICE - Demonstrating our motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others
Any 8th grade student who is interested and did not join last year should email or come see Ms. Mauk ASAP. 6th & 7th grade members are eligible for membership beginning 2nd semester to give them time to establish or improve their grades before committing to our service club. Students will receive paper invitations via homerooms in February.
Elective change forms for 1st semester will be available the week of Sept. 5-8.
