Check In / Check Out
Daily Support for Positive Change
Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training & Consultation Team for this IN PERSON Training.
Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) is a Tier II, evidence-based, behavioral intervention designed to support students by providing more frequent instruction regarding expected behavior, increasing structured contact between students and adults in school, providing a formal mechanism for students to receive feedback on their behavior, and increasing opportunities for reinforcement contingent on expected behavior. This session will provide SWPBIS teams the necessary knowledge and skills to implement multiple variations of CICO within their buildings.
