Hi, my name is Allie Barry, and I am from Arcanum, Ohio. I recently graduated from Miami University with a degree in both primary and special education. This will be my first year of teaching, and I am excited to spend it in the third grade! During my free time, I enjoy swimming, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. I also love playing with my two German Shorthaired Pointers, Snickers and Daisy. I am very excited to be starting my teaching career at Preble Shawnee, and I look forward to meeting all of my students!

I am the new Athletic Director at Preble Shawnee. I come from the University of Cincinnati, where I was the Graduate Assistant for Club Sports. This is my first year as an Athletic Director, and I am excited to start at Preble Shawnee!

Hi, I'm Emma George! I graduated from Versailles and earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (PK-5) from Wright State University. I live with my boyfriend, Jacob, and our mini golden doodle, Charlie. Outside of school, I love coaching volleyball, hunting, and spending time with friends and family. I’m excited to be part of the Arrow team and share my passion for helping students learn and grow!

My name is Jennifer Plessinger, and I am so excited to serve as the 6th Grade Intervention Specialist at Preble Shawnee. With a passion for helping students grow both academically and personally, I’m committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. I bring experience in differentiated instruction and individualized support to ensure that every student receives the tools they need for success. I’m thrilled to be part of the Preble Shawnee Community, and look forward to partnering with families, staff, and students for an amazing school year!

I come from Valley View Local Schools with 2 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist. I have a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Special Education Mild to Moderate K-12 and in Elementary Education. I currently live in Middletown, Ohio with my fiancée Katie and daughter Harper. I am a Preble Shawnee Alumni that is so excited to be an Arrow again.

I graduated from Lakota West before joining the Air Force. I spent 16 years in the Air Force instructing various skills, ranging from survival and evasion techniques to hand-to-hand combat. I also taught people how to maintain multi-million dollar pieces of equipment. In 2024 I switched to the Ohio Army National Guard where I will likely serve for at least 14 more years. I found through all of the military instruction that I greatly enjoyed teaching people new skills, especially when they insisted they couldn't do it. Nothing is brighter than the light in someone's eyes the first time they make a fire without a lighter or matches. In my free time, I'm often hiking with one of my six dogs. Luckily my wife is a vet tech, I don't know how else we could take care of them or the other animals on our hobby ranch. I am excited to be at Preble Shawnee. Go Arrows!

I am very excited to be a part of the Preble Shawnee team! I came here from Mad River Local School District where I was the Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist for a little over 2 years. Prior to that I was a Payroll Specialist at Shared Resource Center, Montgomery County ESC and Twin Valley Schools for a total of 8.5 years. My first school position was at Twin Valley Schools as the Office Assistant to the Food Service Director for 4 years. I live in West Alexandria with my husband and 2 of our sons. I also have 2 grandchildren and one due in January. In my free time I enjoy camping, boating, Bengal’s games, and any time spent with my family. I am looking forward to getting settled and working with all of you!
