We are excited to be hosting Camp Contact events in our Alps shade structure, as well as our dome, which is being hosted a block away with the Burning Man Philosophical Center.

*Here is our current schedule*

Event submissions are open, so please do apply. We need to receive your submissions by August 10th in order for them to officially be in Burning Man's digital listing of events. Do you DJ or teach dance? We are in particular need of Ecstatic Dance DJs, with open slots for Contact Improvisation, Acro Yoga, Meditation, & Yoga Instructors as well. We are also in need of jam ambassadors for some Morning Contact Jams we are hosting in Center Camp. Please Contact Eva at events@campcontact.org if you'd like to teach an Acro or CI class or be a Jam ambassador in center camp. This year, we will be at Center camp Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings from 9 am to 12 noon! We would love for you to share your gifts with us and be a part of bringing more connection into Camp Contact this year, so please apply asap!

Hey friends (and friends of friends)!

We're gathering again to prepare for the Burn — and we’d love for you to join us! This isn’t just about getting ready for the playa — it’s a chance to hang out, help out, and enjoy some beautiful countryside vibes together.

Where: A bucolic farm in Middleburg, VA
When: Friday night (camp out!) + Saturday all day
We’ll have food, hydration, and great company -- Our host has offered to Smoke some Pork for us! We'll have veggie options as well

Here’s what’s on the to-do list:

-Repairing and metering our power grid

-Upgrading hexayurts with better doors & locks

-Fixing plumbing for the kitchen sink

-Repairing some well-loved EZ-Ups

-Organizing barn storage and prepping gear for the playa

-Supporting our amazing farm hosts with any projects they dream up

Don’t worry if you’re not handy — there are plenty of ways to contribute:
Help with meals, ambiance, and organizing
Bring your good vibes and enjoy a lovely day outdoors

You don’t need to be part of Camp Contact or even going to the Burn to join us. This is about community, connection, and contributing to something meaningful — together.

Come for the work, stay for the play. Camp out Friday night if you’d like. We can’t wait to spend time with you! We'd love to start the morning with some yoga if anyone wants to teach!

Let us know if you’re coming so we can plan food and projects accordingly. Address sent upon RSVP.

To our lovely DC tribe! Our DC Container load-in is happening Saturday, August 2nd & Sunday, August 3rd!

The DC Container is co-supported by Camp Contact!

Saturday will be a very fun day as campers from across the Mid-Atlantic bring their gear. We'll have a clothing swap and an opportunity to meet other burners from around DC. And, we really need your help on Sunday.

Sunday is an important day, as we need your help finishing up any projects that didn't get finished at our work party. Please come as early as 11 am to work on the hexayurts, and also repair bikes. Please bring your gear for load in on Sunday, August 3rd at 4 pm when we'll be loading our personal gear as well as the camps sound equipment, kitchen sink, & other gear that we have on the East Coast that needs to get to the West Coast! We appreciate you all for showing up to support, connect, and load in. After we finish, we'll go out to dinner as a group to keep the group flow going!

*Constellation Burn 2025*

Constellation is an opportunity for our community to come together to connect, explore, build, burn, heal, dance, and challenge ourselves to go beyond the boundaries of what we all think is possible. Our collaboratively built city will be constructed entirely from the imaginations of the city’s inhabitants. We are radically inclusive, and we’d love to welcome you!

Save the Date for Love Burn 2026! Theme: Island of Broken Toys. Love burn is happening a week earlier that usual this year on Virginia Key Beach, in Miami, Florida!

Camp Contact creates transformational workshops that generate embodiment, awareness, sensitivity, and inspiration to offer them at burns! We also work together towards a deeper understanding of our relationships and how to grow them. This camp is an ever-growing network of amazing humans. We are so grateful that, at each event, bonds are forged and/or strengthened. At Camp Contact, we put the connection into Contact with our four core pillars of contact improvisation, acro yoga, authentic relating, and ecstatic dance. We look forward to dancing with you from the eclipsing sun to the dusty dusk. Thank you for being you!
