Emergency Cards –If you have not yet returned your child’s Annual Student Emergency Information Card, sent home last week in Wednesday Communication Folders, please review all of the information, make any additions or corrections, sign and return it to school as soon as possible. The information you provide is important in the event of a school or health emergency. Please contact our front office at 377-8800, if you have any questions. Hello from the VME PTO!

We hope you are off to a great year and ready to start planning for some Patriot FUN! Join us at our first in person PTO meeting in 19 months!!!

Tuesday, September 14th at 6:30p in the Media Center. Directly to follow SAC Meeting.

· Our Charleston Wrap Fall Fundraiser will launch at the meeting so come to see samples, and learn more.

· We will be working on plans for Fall Fest, Staff Thanksgiving, Holiday House and Giving Tree (optimistic and fingers crossed!) and are always looking for volunteers to help us run these amazing events and new ideas are always welcomed!

The PTO is seeking local Business Partners! Our BUSINESS PARTNER ADVERTISING package gives your company’s brand expanded reach to the families in and around where your business is located. For $300, your business will receive:

1. 1) An Advertising Banner (3’ x 6’) with your company’s name and logo prominently displayed to parents and families as they come and go from school each day

2. 2) Website Recognition to your company (with logo) in the “Business Partners / Donors” section at vme.squarespace.com

Leadership: 100% of VME students will participate in at least one community service project by June 2021.

Culture: 100% of VME families will participate in at least one school leadership learning activity by June 2021.

Academics: 100% of VME students will meet their individualized reading goal by June 2021.

WIG Goal Setting & Tracking: Students will each set and track individual goals for the above school wide goals in their Student Leadership Notebooks. These Leadership Notebooks will be shared with families during Student-Led Conferences throughout the school year. As students meet their goals, they will set additional goals.
