Principal Message
Note: Tomorrow the 24th is a Professional Development Day.
This past week we had Fruit Salad Lunch provide by School Council on Tuesday. We also meet after school. Thank you for all you do for our school.
On Wednesday, our students participated in Earth Day. As part of that they took time to clean up the accumulated trash from around the playground. Please see pictures below.
Our students have been busy preparing for next week's Spring Tea on Wednesday April 29th. This long standing Wildwood tradition will be starting at 1:00pm.
Bus Registration
For all new students who enroll between March 16, 2026, and June 26, 2026, and who require bus transportation for the 26-27 school year, parents must submit a School Bus Registration on the GYPSD website (School Bus Registration tab) by June 30, 2026.
This deadline also applies to returning students who require bus transportation for the 2026-27 school year. A snapcode is not required to complete the School Bus Registration.
Community Contribution
As you all know this will be the last year of Wildwood School. As part of that I have been sharing bits of our schools history. If you have bits of history or artifacts that you would like to share please email or call Mr. Stoyles so we can share parts of the school's past as we get ready for a new future in September.
As always feel free to reach out regarding any questions or concerns by calling the school at 780-325-3858 or emailing me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca.

JK - Work on colours and letters
We traced our names and worked more on our 1-10 numbers - We did a fun 1-10 Bingo Dob activity!
We learned about Earth Day and did some Earth Day activities such as coloring, a painting craft and even picked up some garbage outside our school!
We had so much fun in the Gym with our K/1 friends!
On Tuesday when it was beautiful outside, we spent some extra time in the sun, picking dandelions and chalking on the concrete!
Thank you,
Ms. Y - JK Program Coordinator.

Wildwood School: Ceiling Tiles
A long standing tradition of Wildwood School has been our ceiling tiles. Students before leaving the school get a tile to paint and leave as part of the school. Over the years our halls have been filled with many paintings of from past students. This year when we close, those tiles can be returned to their original artists or families. See a few examples below. (sorry this week is a repeat as the photos did not upload)
Would you like to volunteer at Wildwood School?
Below you can find the volunteer package for Wildwood School. You can also drop by the school for a paper package and we can help with any questions you might have.
