Message from Mrs. Schneid
Dear BPE Families-
District-Wide Halloween Spirit Week:
This week, we are excited to join our district in celebrating Halloween Spirit Week! Each day provides a fun opportunity for students to show their Titan pride.
On Color War Day, we are asking students to wear their grade-level PTSA t-shirts, which align with each grade’s designated color. (not what is shared on the district flyer)
On Friday, October 31, weather permitting, we will hold our Costume Parade at 2:30 p.m. Guardians are welcome to come watch. Please park across the street and line up in the front loop of the building. Students will exit near the school garden, walk in front of the building, and loop around to reenter through the back doors. For safety reasons, guardians will not be permitted to line up in the back of the building.
After the parade, we ask that all students go home their regular way. Because the parade takes place close to dismissal time, this helps us ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process for all students.
As a reminder, one of our building goals this year is to reduce chronic absenteeism. When students attend school regularly and are healthy, they make stronger academic progress, build positive relationships with peers, and stay connected to their school community. We appreciate your continued support in helping our Titans attend every day and on time!
Warmly,
Mrs. Schneid
Ms. Frimel
Mr. Carnabuci
Reminder at Drop Off in the back with cars
All Families That Drop Off in the AM for School
Please READ- very important reminders that we ask you to read carefully and share with any family members that drop off by car in the back of BPE.
- IF your student is going in for breakfast, they may get out and go in at 8:35.
- IF your student is NOT going in for breakfast, they can not get to line up till 8:40 when we have staff on duty. This is very important for the safety of our students.
- PLEASE be sure to pull all the way up the the LAST staff member. We need as many cars as we can get on the curb so that students are getting in efficiently and on time for school. Even when it is cold or raining- we must pull you up!
- PLEASE do not cut in front of cars in line OR zip out of line and avoid the traffic flow that follows the loop 9:00 AM there will NOT be staff outside and your student must be taken to the front and walked in by you to sign them in. They are considered tardy at that time.

We have one more week of focusing on behaviors on the playground. We are seeing many students doing Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind things during this unstructured time. Please take a moment at home to review our Playground Expectations at home. We appreciate your support!
Attendance Matters
During Conference Week we were able to pass out 142 Browns " Stay in the GAME" yard signs to students that have had perfect attendance since the start of the SY. You may see them around town in BPE Titan yards. Nice job !

Student Fees are now posted
Student Fees are now due and posted in Infinite Campus
Payments may be made in person at BPE using Cash or Check , or through Infinite Campus. Instructions are provided below.
Families are asked and encouraged to complete the Income Eligibility Verification Application to access additional benefits, including increased state and federal funding for staff, equipment, and supplies; discounts on fees for academic assessments; and access to local scholarships, tuition assistance for dual credit and AP courses, and discounts on college application fees. By completing the application, you help the district continue to provide valuable resources and opportunities for every student.
Online Payments
Online payment is our preferred method for parents and guardians to pay for school fees, cafeteria payments, and more.
The Infinite Campus Online Payment system is a payment processing
solution that allows you to submit food service and school-related fees 24/7
via the Parent Portal. Payments can be made for one child or the entire
household.
The Fees tool provides a list of all fees assigned to you. Fees may include things like a lab fee for a science course, a fee for a field trip or the cost of an athletic activity. Fees that are still owed and fees that were paid appear in this list, followed by the ongoing balance for all fees.
If you are unable to use the online payment system, please contact the
treasurer's office at (216) 898-8300.
