ESC Region 12 Safe & Healthy School
5/31/22 The More You Know
Hello Counselors and School Leaders,
The recent school crisis event that occurred on May 24th at Robb Elementary in Uvalde CISD has impacted so many in our state, nation, and around the world. In an effort to help our counselors and school leaders debrief after this tragic crisis, we have constructed an online Zoom meeting next week to provide support.
The session is a School Support Crisis Debrief, an online Zoom session from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 1st.
The session number is #286336. You may register for this event HERE: https://txr12.escworks.net/default.aspx
The NOVA protocols for crisis debriefing will be used and online prompt exercises will be used to help direct and guide the session, then resources will be shared for trauma and grief response support.
Please join us for this free Zoom session and share this information with your fellow school leaders and counselors as you wish.
