Minnesota FFA State Degrees -

Top Ten FFA Chapter Honor
Our FFA chapter was recently named a "Top Ten" Minnesota FFA chapter through the National Chapter Award program. This recognition is based on our chapter's implementation of chapter events throughout the year in the areas of growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture.
EVW FFA members had many outstanding performances at the State FFA Convention on April 19-21. Congrats to all FFA members and advisors!
Speech Season Recap
The EVW Speech Team had a truly memorable and successful season this year. The team worked incredibly hard, and it paid off with a strong showing across several competitions. They were proud to take 2nd place in the Central MN Conference and 3rd place at the Sub-Section meet, which is a testament to the dedication and growth of our speakers.
At the section meet, we had six students advance to the final round, each earning a placement. One of our standout performers, Alayna Haag, took 2nd place in the category Serious Prose. This qualified her to compete at the State competition at Park Center High School. Her piece was a cut from the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson.
At the State competition, Alayna competed among the top 24 speakers in Minnesota in her category. She made it to the final round and took home a 6th place medal. This was a well-earned honor and a wonderful way to cap off her Speech season. Congratulations Alayna and all the EVW speakers!
