Literacy Curriculum Review
As part of our curriculum review process, Walpole Public Schools is actively evaluating our current and prospective K-5 Literacy Curriculum programs. Part of this process is gathering feedback from parents and caregivers about our current K-5 Literacy curriculum and instruction. Please take a few moments to complete this form to provide us with your insight as part of our curriculum review process. The form will close on May 10th.
Summer Learning Program
The WPS Summer Learning Program enrollment form is now open to families. The form in the link below is to enroll your current K-5 student(s) in the program. Please note: you will need to complete a separate form for each child you are enrolling. Be sure to pay attention when entering your student’s grade level and school. All enrollment forms must be completed by Tuesday, May 29th. Due to high demand and limited staffing, some grades and sessions may be limited on a first come first serve basis. As always, if there are any questions please do not hesitate to contact us by using the email provided below.

ST Math
Today is JiJi day and we added to the celebration by recognizing 54 more students who reached 100% puzzle progress on their ST Math Journey. Their pictures will be added to the ST Wall of Fame. As a school we are at 99% puzzle progress and have reached 71% journey progress. The students are doing an amazing job setting and reaching goals with ST Math. There is still time to reach the goal of 80% for all! We can't wait to see what our students will do in these last few weeks.
Media/STEM Update
On Friday April 12, Boyden held Battle Day which was the culminating event for our Battle of the Books season. For the past several months, students in grades 3-5 have been immersed in reading books and working together as a team in preparation for the big event. They spent Battle Day answering trivia questions based on the 13 books on our Battle list. Students showed outstanding effort and teamwork. It was great to see students come together to share their love of books, cheer on classmates and celebrate the joy of reading. Thank you to the Boyden staff and families for supporting and encouraging our young readers. A special thank you to Dedham Savings and Walpole Co-operative Bank for sponsoring the event and allowing us to purchase books for the program.

~Basketball Clinic for Kindergarten and Grade 1
Boyden PAC and Walpole High Basketball coaching staff had such a blast during our first and second sessions with our students from grades 2-5 that we are excited to offer ONE more session!! This session will be only for our students in kindergarten and 1st grade! This is such an amazing opportunity for our younger Boyden students! We want to thank WHS Boys Varsity Head Coach Jenna Galster and members of both the Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams for this amazing afterschool basketball skills clinic.
The session is LIMITED to the first 30 students. REGISTER HERE
