Dear UU Family,
As Valentine’s Day draws near, I am overflowing with gratitude for you and the way you chose love again and again, even when it feels countercultural in our wider political climate. You and your kids inspire me!
I see your courageous, truth-telling, justice-seeking love. Your love is the kind preached by Martin Luther King Jr. and carried forward by Valarie Kaur through the Revolutionary Love Project.
Your love is the reason UUFH is the place to be on Sunday mornings, but I know it's not only at UUFH that your love shines. I see the love and light you bring to Cub Scout meetings and Zoom meetings alike. I see your UU values demonstrated during work week days and open mic nights, and I especially see it in your children. Their open hearts, brave questions, warm gestures, and an unwavering curiosity make working with them the highlight of my week!
Thank you for making your UU Family your chosen family and creating a village for our kids where they learn to resist cruelty, choose kindness, and stand for truth without surrendering their humanity. Because you show up in worship, in service, in quiet care and bold justice, our community and our lives are brighter, stronger, and more joyful! Thank you!

Please Don't Forget
There's a kid-friendly open mic & coffee house on Saturday at 3PM, and worship on Sunday starts at 10:30AM.
Donations from Saturday’s open mic and any gifts to Rev. George’s discretionary fund on Sunday will support UU parents who need our support after their kiddo had a medical emergency. Sweet boy is on the mend post-op, but the medical bills are coming in.
A few of you have helped already. Big thanks to Judy for donating, and Morgan and Ryan for helping with meals! Thanks for putting UU values into action! Your love ripples wide! Love y'all!
