Hello 6th Grade Families!

We’re excited to announce that our 6th graders will be heading to outdoor camp in November! Community building is at the heart of what we do here at RESMS, and this incredible cohort of 275 students has joined us from over 25 Seattle Public Schools, with around 75 students coming from out of district. To make the most of their 3 year Raven Experience, we're going to camp early to foster new friendships, build independence, and SOAR together.

These trips can not happen without the support of our amazing staff and you, the families. Please see the chaperone section below. We need 25 chaperones. Please join us!

Details you need to know:

• Dates: November 12th (departing at 9 am) to November 14thth (returning at 2 pm)
• Location: Cedar Springs Outdoor School, Lake Stevens, Washington
• Parent Virtual Meeting: 10/27 @6:30pm Join the meeting now

Every kid who wants to go, will go regardless if they can pay. - T-shirts / Long-sleeve shirts
- Sweatshirts- Warm water-resistant jacket
- Long pants (Rain pants are best, but not needed)
- Underwear, Socks
- Warm hat
- Closed Toe shoes (at least one hiking) (Bring extra pair of shoes!)
- Toothbrush / Toiletries- Soap
- Gloves
- Flashlight
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Towel
- Lunch for the first day

- Technology (Switch or Video Games)

- Food/Snacks (all are provided)

Welcome to the great outdoors where kids will know what life was like before CELL PHONES! You heard right! No cell phones in the woods or back in the building. DON'T WORRY! YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO CONTACT YOUR KIDDO in the case of an emergency. There is a smooth process for you to communicate with your child if needed. Please urge your student to go to camp!
