With the completion of the first quarter, there’s a great sense of excitement and accomplishment in the halls of Littlestown High School! Students and staff have worked hard to start the year strong, and we’re proud of the dedication and growth shown over the first nine weeks.
We’re also thrilled to celebrate our Field Hockey and Volleyball teams for earning spots in the District Playoffs! Their teamwork, determination, and school pride have been incredible to watch. We are also celebrating the individual success of Robbie Seubert who qualified for the District III Cross Country championship and Landon Bossom & Mason Peart who competed in the District III 2A boys' individual golf competition. Mason won first place in the boy's individual golf championship which earned him a place in the State tournament. Congratulations to the players and coaches on this outstanding achievement — the Thunderbolt spirit is shining bright!
Congratulations on finishing Quarter 1 strong. Continue supporting one another as we move into the next part of the school year. Go Bolts!

With winter weather fast approaching please be sure that your students are wearing proper clothing and footwear for the weather and being cautious when walking and driving in the winter weather. Also, remember that the temperature in the building can be unpredictable as well, so please be sure that your students have water bottles with them so that they can stay hydrated.
Reminder students can not carry any medications with them in school. This includes cough drops and over the counter medications like Tylenol, Ibuprofen, vitamins, or supplements. If your student needs to have medication or needs a cough drop, Tylenol or Ibuprofen, they can visit the health room for these medications. Students are not allowed to bring in prescription medication to the health office, according to school policy all medication must be bought in by a parent and guardian and the parent or guardian will need to sign the medication in with the health office.
The health room does not have any allergy/cold medicine. If your child needs allergy/cold medicine please be sure that they are taking it prior to coming to school and that it will last for 8 hours to get the student through the day.
If you have a student that is in 11th grade, please turn in their physical forms to the health office along with an updated immunization form if you have not already done so.
Please be sure that your student(s) are eating breakfast in the morning so that they can have the fuel they need to get through the morning and be ready to learn. Breakfast is free for all students this year in the cafeteria. Please remind students to stop by and grab something to eat so that they can be fueled to start their day.

As the fall sports season comes to a close, we celebrate the tremendous accomplishments of our student-athletes and teams. Across all programs, our athletes demonstrated perseverance, overcame challenges, and grew not only as competitors but as teammates and leaders.
We are proud to recognize the success of our field hockey and volleyball teams, both of which earned berths in the district playoffs due to their skill, dedication, and teamwork. A special congratulations goes out to our football program for earning the Division III Officials Sportsmanship Award. This honor highlights the character, integrity, and respect consistently shown by our coaches and players, who truly embody the values of Thunderbolt Athletics both on and off the field.
Congratulations as well to sophomore Mason Peart, who qualified for the state tournament, capping off a season defined by hard work and outstanding performance, and to junior Robert Seubert, who achieved a personal best at the District 3 Class AA Cross Country Championship. These achievements are a testament to the resilience, commitment, and determination of our student-athletes and coaching staff.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our senior fall athletes for their leadership, dedication, and lasting contributions to their teams and to the Littlestown athletic program. Your commitment and sportsmanship has left a meaningful legacy for future Thunderbolts to follow.
A special thank you also goes out to our outstanding cheer team and fantastic band, whose energy, enthusiasm, and school spirit elevated every event. Their presence helped create an unforgettable atmosphere for both players and fans throughout the season under the Friday night lights.
Looking ahead, the winter sports season begins with Meet the Coach Night on Wednesday, November 5, from 6–7 PM at Littlestown High School. This event provides families and athletes with important information about expectations, schedules, and training opportunities. Tryouts begin Thursday, November 14, marking the start of another exciting season of Thunderbolt Athletics.
We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Tre Woodyard as our new boys’ basketball coach. Coach Woodyard brings a wealth of experience as both a player and coach at various schools, and we look forward to the leadership, knowledge, and energy he will bring to our program.
