Life skills are necessary for full participation in life
Life Skill of the Month
Integrity: Choosing to do the right thing, even when alone.
Learning Intention
We will do the right thing, even when alone.
Success Criteria
We can show integrity by following the expectations in our classrooms, on the playground, and in the cafeteria.
We can take responsibility for our actions by telling the truth and not blaming others.
We can make good choices even when no one is watching (keep hands to ourselves, pick up litter on the ground, walk in the hallways and on the blacktop, follow the rules to our playground games, and pick up after ourselves in the cafeteria).
The Reese 23 Rule of the Month
Rule #1: Always be honest.
New Reese News
Happy Mother's Day!
On behalf of our entire Reese community, I want to take a moment to honor and celebrate all the mothers, grandmothers, guardians, and mother figures who make a difference in our students’ lives every single day.
Your love, guidance, and unwavering support shape our Roadrunners into thoughtful, curious, and resilient learners. Whether you are helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, volunteering in our classrooms, or simply encouraging a love of learning at home, your impact is immeasurable.
Today and every day, we recognize and appreciate your dedication and the many roles you juggle with grace and compassion. Thank you for being our partners in education and for the countless ways you help our Roadrunners and our school community thrive.
Wishing you all a joyful, relaxing, and very Happy Mother’s Day!
2026-2027 Class Lists are completed to Support All Learners
We are finalizing class lists for the upcoming school year. This thoughtful process involved careful consideration to ensure the best possible placement for each of our Roadrunners, both returning and new.
- It takes time to roster all students into their new classes via our Aeries Portal. As a result, families will receive information about their child’s assigned teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in July, once Parent Data Confirmation is complete.
- Class lists have been created by both teachers and administration. We engaged in a collaborative, data-informed process to thoughtfully create and review each list, ensuring that every class is balanced and representative of our students’ diverse skills, experiences, and needs.
- Our goal was to form heterogeneous classes that support all learners’ academic, social, and personal growth, while also empowering our teachers to provide the best possible learning experiences for every student.
- We are working diligently to make the start of the next school year a positive experience for all our Roadrunners!

Reese Reminders
Friendly Reminder for Our School Community
To ensure the safety and respect of our neighbors, we kindly ask all families and visitors to avoid blocking driveways during school drop-off, pick-up, and special events. Keeping driveways clear is important for emergency access and helps us maintain positive relationships with our surrounding community. Please note that blocking driveways may result in a parking citation.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our school environment safe and welcoming for everyone!
Red Bus Curb
We would like to inform you that the Lodi Police Department has been actively patrolling our area. Please be aware that they are issuing tickets to vehicles parked in the red zone. To avoid any inconvenience, we kindly ask that you refrain from parking in these areas before and after school hours.
We are in the process of gathering additional information on approved parking arrangements in these zones. This includes parking for both buses and special education vehicles during pick-up and drop-off times. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to clarify these guidelines.
Thank you for your understanding and support in ensuring a smooth and safe environment for everyone.
Reese Dress Code Expectations
As the temperatures begin to rise, it's a great opportunity to revisit our Reese Dress Code Expectations. Our dress code is designed to ensure a safe learning environment and help students focus on their education rather than their clothing choices. We encourage all students to dress in a manner that promotes success.
For detailed information, please refer to the dress code section on pages 9-10 of the Reese Parent Student Handbook, accessible via the link provided below.
