If you have questions about how to use Canvas (our remote learning platform), there will be a Zoom session facilitated by Derek Higgins and Ahmad Tirhi. They will go over the basics of Canvas and answer all questions about how to access remote learning successfully. Please join us for one of the three offered sessions below:

What is Clever?

Clever is the homepage where you can find access to Canvas as well as other online resources such as iReady.

How to login into Clever:

1. Go to clever.com/in/fwps

2. Click Log in with Google

3. Enter in your student ID email and your regular computer password studentIDnumber@p12fwps.org

4. This should bring you to the Clever Home Page where you can access iReady as well as Canvas.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is an online video conference call where teachers can hold office hours and study sessions for students and families. It is a good replacement for face to face communication.

What is Canvas?

Canvas is a learning management platform that our students will be able to access in order to see and submit assignments and to partake in and facilitate discussions. It is our version of 'Online School' that many school districts and universities all use (University of Washington included).

In order to better understand how to use Canvas, Mr. Tirhi, 8th grade ELA/HIST teacher, put together a video that explains the core aspects of Canvas and how to navigate the website. It can be a little confusing at first glance but I assure you it is easier than it seems.
