Principal's Note
Dear Families,
Can you believe we have reached the final month of the school year? June is always a magical, fast-paced month filled with celebrations, reflection, and anticipation of summer adventures. Looking back, I am incredibly proud of the immense growth, resilience, and joy our students have shown this year.
Thank you for your unwavering partnership, volunteer hours, and support from home. We could not have done this without our amazing school community!
📚 Keeping the Learning Alive This Summer
To combat the "summer slide" and keep your child's mind active, we encourage you to build simple routines into your vacation:
- Read Daily: Aim for 20 minutes of reading a day.
- Visit the Library: Participate in local summer reading programs.
- Practice Math: Use cooking, card games, or grocery shopping for real-world math skills.
- Limit Screen Time: Encourage outdoor exploration and creative free play.
💛 Saying Goodbye to Our Graduates
A special congratulations goes out to our oldest students who are moving on to middle school. You have left a lasting mark on our school community. We wish you the absolute best of luck in your next chapter—we know you will do amazing things!
To our returning families, have a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer break. We look forward to welcoming you back in August!
I want to thank the Washington community for welcoming me as the interim principal for the year. It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve the community in this manner. I wish you all the best and have a great summer.
Warmest regards,
Principal Komar
School Climate Survey
The school climate survey is your opportunity to give valuable feedback to the school and the administration. Click on the link below. It will only take a few minutes of your time.
Please take 5-7 minutes to complete a Climate Survey for each of the schools your child/children attend.
Your input is greatly valued. Each school will review the results to reflect up on the school year with results of the survey published in the fall. Thank you for taking the time.

Communication
After 10:30 am please call Principal Komar's phone at 603-495-3418. If someone does not answer, please leave a message.
If there are changes to your child's dismissal routine, please make sure to leave a message on the office phone before 2:00pm, as opposed to emailing Kimberly Andrews or the teacher. Our teachers often do not have time to check their emails throughout the day and may miss the message, so a phone call is best.
In the event that internet is down, our phones are also down. We do have one emergency phone to use if this happens. The number for that phone is 603-495-0187. There is no way to leave a message on this line. Please only use this number if you try the main line and it does not ring or gives you a busy signal.
If there's ever anything we can do to improve our communication, please let us know!
