We will offer onsite registration for anyone who wants/needs to register for summer school tomorrow at Manvel High School.
Students may register for initial credit or credit recovery courses.
Initial Credit – courses taken for the first time. Typically by students wanting to get ahead or make room in their schedules to take a class that would not otherwise fit in their schedule. Once completed, students will receive the numerical grade earned. These grades will be included in students GPA calculation.
Credit Recovery – Courses that were failed and need to recover the credit. Once completed and passed, students will receive a ‘P” on their transcript.
Teachers should have communicated with parents either via email or phone call if your student failed a class during the second semester. Failure letters were also sent out to all students who were currently failing, failed an SM1 class or loss credit due to attendance on May 16th. You can also view your students grades in Skyward to check for failed courses (SM1 and SM2).
Please see the flyer below with additional important information pertaining to summer school.
Registration will be held in the Bell Tower at MHS. Please park in the front parking lot and enter the building through the front office. There will be a secretary on site that will be able to take payments as well.
Time: 8:00 – 10:00 and 1:00-3:00
