May 27: Monday Magi Messenger
May 27, 2024

Week of May 27, 2024 - Final Week Of School
Superintendent's Monday Magi Message
Happy Monday Magi Families,
As we conclude another successful school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thank you to our parents, teachers, community, families, staff and our STUDENTS! We have seen remarkable growth in many areas this year. These accomplishments are a testament to the collaborative spirit, resilience and and commitment of our entire school community. The best way to celebrate this is when we get to see graduates walk across the stage. Our one hundred and thirtieth annual commencement exercises will be on Sunday, June 2nd at 1PM.
As the school year ends, our leadership continues the work to support our vision for excellence in instruction and academics, serving the diverse and evolving needs of our students, adjusting practices based on feedback from parents and the community. We will work tirelessly again this summer to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students, staff and families.
If you have a question about something, please reach out to me.
Please note the following:
- The Monday Magi Messenger will be our primary communication tool for the summer months, please be sure to review it as it will come out bi-weekly to update you on progress on district summer programs, projects and BACK TO SCHOOL!
- Our high school administrative area experienced water damage last week and will be undergoing some work, and we have several exciting projects happening in our buildings to enhance our facilities. Therefore, please call or email ahead if you need to visit or need any information. All staff emails are listed on our website: https://www.colonschools.org/staff
- We have seen a dramatic increase in enrollment in our summer programming last week, and spots are filling up quickly - please see the sign-up link below.
This year has been filled with memorable moments and collective achievements that have shaped our school community. As you start on your summer break, I encourage you to take this time to relax, rejuvenate, and cherish the moments with your loved ones. May this summer be filled with joy, discovery, and cherished memories.
Your children all mean the world to me, and our team. Serving them and you is my greatest joy. I look forward to welcoming you back, with renewed purpose, energy and enthusiasm,
Dr. Rachel Kowalski
