Principal's Message Principal's Message

Good evening, Bruin families-

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with joy, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. As we return to our routines, let’s focus on making the most of the last three weeks of the semester. Please be mindful to follow all traffic laws when driving, biking or walking to and from school; cross Thornton and Whistler at the stop light within the crosswalks. It is very dangerous and illegal to cross the road outside of the crosswalk.

This is a key time for students to bring their personal best to finish the semester strong. Whether it’s staying consistent with homework, preparing for upcoming assessments, or engaging in class, every effort counts! Please encourage your child to set small goals and seek support when needed.

As always, thank you for your continued partnership. Let’s make this final stretch of the semester productive and positive!

Warm regards,

Principal

Julie Hummel

Attention Seniors: Attention Seniors:

Financial Aid Resources
The FAFSA and CADAA are scheduled to open on December 1, 2024 for the 2025-26 academic year. The delay from the customary October 1 opening day is to allow the US Department of Education time to perform beta testing and eliminate issues.

November is a great time to encourage your FAFSA families to create their FSA IDs, allowing time to fix any issues if they should arise. (And, yes, there have been some issues with FSA IDs in the month of October).
