If you have visited our updated website you may have noticed a few new buttons. MyGCS is new and is the last button along the top right. This is where Grace families will find most of what they need. MyGCS has the school calendar in Google Calendar as well as an option to print the year at a glance calendar. It also has a link to chapel videos, a list of forms you may need, and other resources.

Lutheran Schools Week, also known as Spirit Week, has always been a really fun and unifying part of the school year for staff and students alike. This year we will be celebrating Lutheran Schools Week with a Spirit Week from Tuesday, February 16th to Friday, February 19th. Our theme this year will be “Light it Up!” and will revisit the theme for the school year chosen by our 8th graders: “Illuminate” from Philippians 2:14-15.

See the flyer below and dig up some clothes to participate with us!

Here is a quick list for special dress participation:

• February 16: Timeless Tuesday: Wear clothes that are a blast from the past. Need ideas? - Google decades past. Let’s have fun with this!

• February 17: Wellness Wednesday: Wear clothes that help you physically or mentally! Workout wear or pajamas. Good activity and good sleep are what good health is about!

• February 18: Zoom Meeting Thursday: Wear something nice and neat from the waist up. Wear crazy mismatch clothing from the waist down.

• February 19: Funny Friday: Wear crazy hats, crazy socks, and crazy masks. Remember to label your hats though. We always want your child’s things to come home!

We are happy the Supreme Court of the United States lifted California's ban on indoor worship. While the 25% capacity limitation and singing ban remains in place, congregations can once again gather for worship in person.
