Spreading Gratitude Across Beaumont: Share a Note for Our Staff!
As we wrap up October and head into November, our building is buzzing with learning and Bengal Pride! In our classrooms, we talk constantly with our students about positive choices, community, and recognizing the good in others. This month, we would love to invite our parent community to join in modeling that same spirit of gratitude.
We have a dedicated team working every single day to ensure our students thrive- our classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, custodial crew, office staff, specials teachers, and support teams.
How You Can Participate: Take two minutes to submit a brief digital note of appreciation for any Beaumont staff member who has made a difference for your family this year.

I will be printing each submission and decorating our staff lounge throughout November so our entire team can read your kind words every time they step inside. Thank you for partnering with us and for keeping our Beaumont community so supportive and strong!
Warmly,
Mrs. Ristich

A Huge Thank You! π
Thanks to Waterford Youth Assistance and "Share the Fair" donations, 30 students received a free book from the book fair. The rocket winners pictured below were drawn from those that donated to "share the fair".
Upcoming Events
This is an amazing evening event where our entire WSD community can connect and learn from each other. Mrs. Ristich is on the planning committee and would love to see some bengal families join the fun!

Bengal Garden Project: Accepting Clean Plastic Jugs! πΏπΎ
Under the leadership of 3rd Grade Teacher, Mrs. McGrath, we are planning to get our Beaumont garden up and running again!
We will be using the winter sowing method, turning recycled plastic jugs into miniature greenhouses that sit right outside in the Michigan snow until spring sunshine sparks natural germination.
1. Jug Collection (Ongoing All Winter):
We need clean, empty 1-gallon plastic milk or water jugs.
Please rinse them thoroughly before sending them in (clean containers prevent mold!).
Drop-offs can be sent in with your student.
2. Community Connections & Spring Volunteers Needed:
It takes a village to help our garden flourish! We are planning ahead for:
Garden Center Connections: Do you or a family member work with or own a local garden center, nursery, or landscaping company? Weβd love to connect with you!
Spring Ground Crew: When the ground thaws, we will need adult volunteers to help us rototill, mulch, and weed to prepare the beds for our seedlings.
If you have a garden center connection or would like to be on our spring outdoor volunteer crew, please send an email to woodaj01@wsdmi.org and we'll add you to the list.
Thank you for showing Bengal PRIDE and helping our school garden grow!
