There will be a modified bell schedule on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Poway High School. School start and dismissal times will remain the same (8:35 am-3:35 pm), but please be aware of class period, break, and lunch times for off-rolls and off-campus passes.

Get ready for a spooktacular evening of trunk decorating, candy, prizes, and fun for the whole family!

Poway High School Auto Club presents Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 23, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at 14063 Titan Way, Poway, CA.

Free for all ages! Come dressed up, check out the creatively decorated trunks, enjoy some Halloween fun, and see who takes home a prize in the trunk decorating contest!

Our AP Biology students are putting their lab leftovers to good use by bringing a little extra greenery to campus! Students used plants remaining from their lab to help beautify our campus.

The City of Poway will be conducting annual road maintenance on Poway Road, between Espola and Highway 67. The road will be closed Tuesday, October 27, through Thursday, October 29, from 9 am to 3:30 pm each day. Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes during the closure. Thank you for your patience as the City works to maintain Poway’s roadways.

As the holiday season approaches, our Titan community has another opportunity to come together and support Poway High families who could use a little extra help this time of year.

The Giving Tree Program helps families who may be experiencing difficult circumstances and need additional support to make the holidays a little brighter. Your generosity not only helps provide holiday gifts and essentials, but also supports our students throughout the year with basic necessities, school supplies, activities, and other needs.

Ways You Can Give Back

• 🌲 Support a family — Choose a small, medium, or large family and shop from their wish list.

• 💳 Give a gift card — Help families purchase essentials or choose gifts that are meaningful to them.

• 🤝 Gather together — Team up with friends, clubs, classes, or organizations to collect donations and support a family.

• 📢 Spread the word — Encourage fellow Titans to participate and help us reach even more families.

• 🏢 Get your workplace or team involved — Sponsor a family or organize a group contribution.

Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a meaningful difference for a Titan family. 💚

Athletic Clearance 2026-2027 Due Dates

· January 9 for Spring Season Sports

We welcome all sport seasons to turn in athletic clearance forms early.

Please turn in your athletic clearance forms into the Athletic office.

Turn in these original forms(scans, uploads, and photocopies will not be accepted) into the Athletic Office:

• signed AthleticClearance.com confirmation page; and
• completed PUSD Health History and Physical Exam forms. Physicals can only be accepted from a California Licensed Health Care Provider, are valid for 12-months, and cannot expire during the selected sports season.

Time is running out for scheduling senior portraits. All yearbook portraits must be taken by Keane Studios. There is still time to contact Keane directly to book a studio session: www.keaneseniors.com. Studio sessions will allow seniors multiple poses and a choice of the image used in the yearbook.

Keane Seniors will be on campus for free Senior Portrait Quickshots on:

Thursday, October 22, from 8:35 am-1:45 pm
Room K-1

These sessions are free and take approximately 5 minutes. For the on-campus sitting students will not be able to select poses or images. Students will receive a pass out of class on that day with their assigned time slot. If they are absent, there is no make-up day. We want every senior in the yearbook, so please make a plan for portraits!

Looking for practical support and strategies for parenting? PUSD Parent Education offers a variety of fee-based courses for parents and caregivers.

Courses are available for families with students in TK–12th grade, with many offered both in person and online. New courses are available this year!

Parents can view course descriptions, dates, costs, and register online through the Poway Adult School Parent Education website. Scholarships are also available for families who may need financial assistance.
