A message from Asst. Principal Mrs. Callie Harris
Hi, PWS!!
I can’t believe how quickly summer flew by! We’re so excited to welcome everyone back. Whether you’re new to PWS or a returning family, we want to make sure you know how the parent drop-off and pick-up line works.
ENTER: Approach the 119th Street entrance from the south via 45th Street. No left turns. Turn right at the entrance behind Maize Performing Arts and Aquatic Center (MPAAC).
TRAFFIC FLOW REMINDER: If the line extends out to the 119th St. entrance, turn into the MPAAC parking lot → loop to form an “L.” This keeps traffic moving and prevents backups onto 119th Street. Do not park or wait on 119th Street.
FOLLOW: Continue past MPAAC → District Office → PWS playground → Complete High School. Turn right at the stop sign, pass the PWS office, then turn right into the circle.
DROP-OFF/PICK-UP: Continue forward and pull up as far as possible, keeping vehicles close together to keep traffic moving. Students enter and exit on the right side of the vehicle.
Here is the video to show you how to do it!
We’ll see you soon!
