Weekly Update - MP Families

Manchester Park is joining in Noah’s Bandage Project from August 31-September 4! We’ll be collecting boxes of fun band-aids (or $2 donations) to help bring cheer to kids battling cancer. On September 4, everyone is encouraged to wear a band-aid to show support for this great cause!

We will have our general school hearing screening on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026. All children in grades Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, and Fifth plus any child in Fourth grade who is new to the Olathe School District or who has an IEP will be screened. If your child does not pass the hearing screening you will be notified by Mrs. Vanderslice, our school nurse. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Vanderslice at 913-780-7540.

We will have a new sidewalk installed on the west side of our main parking lot. This will allow students walking to school from the new homes behind MP to avoid crossing in front of the parking lot exit. Prep work has already begun, so please be cautious of construction equipment.

We are happy to welcome families in to join their Timberwolves for lunch! Due to the size of our cafeteria, we do need to limit the number of guests each day. Lunch visits start after Labor Day, and some days are not listed due to special events.

Guidelines:

- Prior sign-up is required.

- Each slot covers two guests.

- Upon arrival, office staff will check for your sign-up.

- If you did not sign up online for that day, plan to reschedule for a different day.

- Lunch will take place in the cafeteria, as we don't have other available spaces.

- You may bring lunch in for your student, but may NOT share food with other students, even if you have prior approval from a parent.

- If you'd like to purchase a school lunch, contact our front office by 9:15 AM to order.

- Payment is not accepted on site, so be sure to have enough $$ on your child's meal account to cover.
