Please keep the following in mind:
- We have Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for October 22, 23, and 24. These will be one-session days for students, with early dismissal. If your child requires a meeting due to academic or behavioral concerns, you should have already been contacted by a teacher or administrator.
- Students will be allowed to dress up on Halloween Day. Costumes must be appropriate—no weapons, and masks are not permitted inside the building.
- We also encourage you to support the PTO Cookie Fundraiser. Your participation helps support our school initiatives!
- We are pleased to announce the elected Student Council for the 2024-2025 school year

- We are kicking off Red Ribbon Week on October 28th, a national initiative to raise awareness about substance abuse. Please check the flyer section for details on themed dress-up days.
- As the weather gets colder, please ensure that your child is following the dress code. Solid-colored sweatshirts without logos (unless they are Bogota BOE or BMS attire) are mandatory.
- Additionally, we are continuing to address student tardiness. Please make every effort to have your child arrive before 8:10 AM each day.
- The Jr. YAC Food Drive is ongoing, and we encourage donations for a great cause. We’ve also successfully raised funds this month for Breast Cancer Awareness—thank you to everyone who contributed!
