School Principal's Message

Dear Reutter School Families,

It has been an extraordinary and jam-packed week at Reutter School, beautifully balancing academic and creative showcases along with vibrant school traditions. The week began on Monday, June 1, as we thrilled our upcoming student body by hosting the rising fifth graders from Main Road School for the start of their CLR transition. Our Reutter School Student Council did a fantastic job welcoming our visitors and leading them on comprehensive tours of the building, while I, along with our fifth-grade student council representatives, delivered an insightful overview of Reutter School operations, daily activities, and exciting school highlights. That same day, history truly came to life in Miss Rey and Miss Jacobs' fifth-grade ELA classes during their "Decades Research Projects." Each student was assigned to research specific details of a particular decade spanning the past 100 years, ultimately presenting their findings through detailed posters or digital slide shows while going the extra mile by dressing up in creative costumes associated with their selected eras.

The excitement continued mid-week with a wonderful mix of school spirit, arts, and character recognition. On Wednesday, our school community celebrated its positive culture by recognizing the students who were nominated as RAM STRONG Students of the Month for consistently demonstrating excellent character. Wednesday also featured the highly popular "Anything But a Backpack Day," which brought immense creativity and laughter to the hallways. On the performance stage, the Reutter School Drama Club took center stage this week to present their highly anticipated annual school musical, "The Big One-Oh!" Our talented student performers and hardworking stage crew truly brought this fantastic story to life, showcasing their dedication, creativity, and impressive theatrical skills. Additionally, building on the success of the recent Art Show, the Tiny House Club proudly displayed their completed "tiny houses." To prepare for the exhibit, students learned about the concepts of tiny living and used a cross-curricular approach to design and build their own miniature models from scratch, giving families a great look at how our students successfully blended design, math, and hands-on construction concepts into their art.

On Thursday, a representative from the Franklin Township Library visited the school to discuss their exciting summer programs, encouraging students to keep up their reading habits over the upcoming break.

Finally, a reminder that this Friday, we will celebrate our award-winning character development program with our annual Color Run. Coinciding with the high-energy run, Friday will feature a school spirit day where students are encouraged to proudly wear colors associated with our different character traits of the month (homeroom-based). This event is an unforgettable way for our students and staff to celebrate a year of kindness, integrity, and RAM pride.

Sincerely,

Mr. Theodore Peters

Principal

Character Color Run

Reutter School Character Color Run

Friday, June 5, 2026

Reutter students have been dedicated to building strong character traits throughout the school year. To celebrate their growth and continue this positive momentum, we are excited to host our Annual Character Color Run.

Each of our Monthly Character Traits has been associated with a specific color, and students have proudly demonstrated their character spirit during our monthly Character Color Days. The upcoming Character Color Run is a fun and engaging way for students to celebrate their continued growth in character.

Sixth Grade students will participate in the run at 11:15 AM, and Fifth Grade students will run at 12:50 PM. We warmly invite parents and guardians to attend, cheer on the students, and show support with posters and signs of encouragement.

Immediately following each grade-level run, parents will be able to sign out their child from school early at the security vestibule entrance.
