Country Heights Elementary

Together with our teachers and staff, I want to welcome our students and school community back to Country Height Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. Our mission is to partner with our families to build lifelong leaders and learners.

Each day this week, our students have been getting to know each other through teambuilding and classbuilding. They have worked to create classroom communities filled with respect and confidence—a place where every student feels open to sharing what they are learning and can actively engage with content. Please ask them about some of these activities. The Huskies have also been reviewing or learning about our four guidelines for success, eight habits (Leader in Me), and twelve tools to help regulate emotions. I have observed the results of their hard work in the cafeteria, during Connects, and when students have been transitioning throughout the building. Our students and staff have absolutely SHINED this week.

We can't wait to see each student back here on Monday morning. Enjoy your weekend!

PikMyKid is the app we use at CHES for afternoon transportation. Please have the app downloaded and familiarize yourself with it. ALL changes to afternoon transportation must be made before 1:30. If you have any questions, using the app, please call or email the office.

CHES is blessed with an amazing group of students, parents, and staff. Our PTO board has been working hard to bring new and fun opportunities to our school. All returned volunteer forms from the back to school bash were put in a drawing. PTO would like to congratulate Nikki C. for being selected as the winner of the cup, husky, and spirit wear.
