Please see below for important information regarding testing. The buses run at the typical AM and PM times before and after school on April 15th, 16th, 21st, and 23rd. Students can ride the bus on testing days and wait in the cafeteria until their classes start, or they may show up when their classes begin.

Please note the End of Course Exam schedule as shown above for students. Please also notice that not every mod will take place each day. The mods do not run in consecutive order so as to accommodate the Polaris students' schedule. Please be aware Tuesday, April 28th, unless your student is taking the Biology exam, NO other students should be in the building.

ONLY STUDENTS TESTING SHOULD BE IN THE BUILDING DURING SCHEDULED TESTING TIMES on the 28th. Please look at the exam testing chart above for further clarification. Reminder: Polaris Students, on the days of End of Course Exams, buses for Polaris will run as normally scheduled.

If a student does not have an EOC test, they do not need to be at BMHS during testing. However, if they are taking their normal bus for transportation purposes, students should report to the 1A Cafeteria and remain there. Students are not permitted to walk through the building while tests are being administered.

Polaris Hosts Berea City Schools

Earlier this week, Polaris was proud to host the Berea City School District’s Deeper Learning Summit! Our district leadership experienced behind-the-scenes tours of Polaris and heard from a panel of our AMAZING students as they brought the Portrait of a Titan to life - demonstrating what it means to be Adaptable, Communicators, Critical Thinkers, Empathetic, Innovative, and Leaders.

And as expected…our students SHINED! Thank you to BCSD for the partnership and for allowing us to showcase the incredible talent, voice, and future of these outstanding young people. #PartnershipsMatter #StudentPanel #PolarisMeansJobs

Driver's Ed Funding:
The new funding for driver's education courses has not been released by the State of Ohio yet, but you can go to the website and sign up to be contacted once the funding is available in Cuyahoga County. It is expected to be available beginning in March. Use this site to get on the mailing list. You will be asked to fill out the contact form. Families must provide SNAP benefits eligibility proof (12 months), and if students are under 18, parents have a portion of the application to complete.

Attention Seniors:

Seniors who applied to college will be getting their award letters in the coming month or two. These will show the actual price of each college to which they were accepted. Please have the students watch their emails for important information about housing and orientations.

Tri-C will be here to meet with seniors on March 19th from 9-noon. Seniors may apply if they have not done so and will be able to ask questions about academics and will be given information about placement testing.

Career Info:

The annual Career and Resource Fair will be on March 31st from 8-11:00 in the main gym. Many employers and community agencies looking for volunteers will be in attendance. There is still room for more companies and organizations if you know of someone interested in a table. They should complete this form: BMHS Careers/Jobs/Resource Fair
