TIA TIA

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) is a program funded by the Texas Education Agency that provides a pathway for high-performing teachers to earn six-figure salaries and enables districts to recruit and retain highly effective teachers in high needs areas.

El Paso ISD will be launching a pilot of the TIA program at Canyon Hills Middle School this school year. We will be entering step one of a two-step approval process with TEA and Texas Tech University. We need your input as we collectively co-design our Local Teacher Designation System. In August, Texas Tech University will send a Teacher Buy In Survey to garner feedback from ALL El Paso ISD teachers. Prior to filling out the survey please take the time to view these informative videos.
