ACT Aspire Testing is Here! ACT Aspire Testing is Here!

MHS 9th and 10th grade students test on Tuesday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 21.

On Test Day:

Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast

Many teachers report that students who don't do well on tests haven't gotten enough sleep, and haven't eaten breakfast on the morning of the test. Doing both of these things will ensure that your child is working at full capacity (Narang, 2008).

Remain positive

Staying calm will help your child stay calm. If she gets nervous about the test or is likely to experience anxiety during the test, help her practice some relaxation techniques that she can try once she's taking the test (Narang, 2008).

Prom '21 "Star Fall"

Friday, April 16, MHS juniors, seniors, their dates, and members of the Class of 2020 came together to celebrate two proms in one at Prom '21. It was held at Adonai Tsuri Events Venue. It was an awesome evening with dancing, photos taken in a photo booth, and caricature drawings being done. Students played corn hole and watched the senior video. Some even fished at the pond on the property. Lots of door prizes were also given away.

Buck Buchanan and Heather Shores were chosen by the Class of 2021 as Prom King and Queen.

Dr. Atwell reflects on the evening in a special prom newsletter: Prom: Celebrating Traditions https://www.smore.com/v7fgc

Supporting Student Organizations

We have many organizations on campus that students participate in. Often times, there are fees and other expenses that come with being in many organizations. These are supported by parents, family, friends, and patrons. Your support of our students with their participation in the different organizations is very much appreciated.
