Cell Phone & Smart Watch Reminders
From the Elementary Handbook:
During the school day, cell phones must be off and away, stored in a student’s cubby or book bag, unless they are necessary for medical reasons. When a smartwatch is deemed to be a distraction to the learning environment, it must be removed and stored in the cubby or book bag. The goal of these rules is to avoid distractions and maximize learning.

4th & 5th Grade Reading Olympics
Nearly 50 fourth and fifth grade Evergreen Elementary students participated in the annual MCIU Reading Olympics on March 21st at Souderton Area High School. The students have been reading and meeting since the fall to prepare for this competition which promotes a love of reading, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The five teams are led by Mrs. Mumford, our reading specialist. Thank you to the many staff volunteers who served as team leads, moderators, and scorekeepers. We are very proud of our student participants. Congratulations on a great night!
