Principal's Corner

It is hard to believe that this is the last day before Thanksgiving Break. I can't thank all of you enough for the support that you have given our school. We have only been able to make it this far because of all of you.

We hope that all of you get some much needed time this week to spend with the people you need the most!! We will miss our students and will be excited for when they return on Monday, December 1st.

We are moving in the right direction with our attendance. We are very close to the 90% range which is where we want to stay. At this time of the year we just want to stay close!!!

The iReady Winter Diagnostic will start soon after we get back from Thanksgiving break. We have been working hard to see growth from our Fall scores. Please encourage your students to do their best and make sure that you check the communication coming from your teacher so you know the exact schedule for your student.

We like to have students set individual goals for themselves so they know what they need to strive for during the test. This helps them stay focus and motivated during the test.

We will also try to motivate students to do their best by letting our students know that we will be taking them to the Roller Skating Rink, SK8 Zone, in Jefferson City!! This has been a huge motivator for us in the past. We love to be able to provide this opportunity to our students to motivate them to show their best work!!

This is a spirit week for the whole district. This does not start until December 15th.
