Aviators...the first quarter of the school year has ended and it will soon be time for our holiday break. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read the updates below. As we move forward please be informed and stay connected.
HAPPY PRINCIPALS MONTH TO ME!
My students made me a beautiful sign in honor of National Principals Month. And I have been receiving sweet emails from my students all week. It is a privilege to do what I love every day. Thank you all!
REPORT CARDS
This is a reminder that report cards will be sent home with all students on Friday, October 23rd.
SPIRIT WEEK
Our Student Government Association will sponsor Spirit Week during the week of October 26th. See the dress up days for next week below. We hope all of our students will participate.
HERFF JONES ORDERING DAY
Our representative from Herff Jones will be on campus Wednesday, October 28th to take cap and gown orders (seniors) and orders for students who are interested in purchasing class rings.
JUNIOR BETA COMMUNITY SERVICE
Jr Beta Club will be sponsoring a food drive for the holiday season from November 2-6. Please drop off any non-perishable items in the box in the lobby, in Mrs. Wolfe's room in the modular, or leave it with your homeroom/1st period teacher and we will pick it up. Thank you for helping feed needy families in our community.
Jr Beta Club is hosting a coat drive for the Coats for the Children organization. Please bring new, or clean gently used coats to help us share the warmth this year. Collection will be from November 2-13. Drop donations in the box in the lobby, or directly to Mrs. Wolfe's classroom (in the modular unit). We accept all sizes. Thank you!
FAMILY DAY
In honor of American Education Week, WSTA will invite parents to campus on Tuesday, November 17th to share information with our students about their careers. Be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. Coates to sign up to participate.
FALL 2026 SEMESTER EXAMS
Please review the TENTATIVE high school exam schedule. Mark your calendars and plan accordingly.
BOX TOPS
You are invited to help WSTA earn funds through the Box Tops for Education program. With the Box Tops app, all you have to do is buy participating products and scan your receipt. Then, when you shop, the app will automatically identify participating products and automatically credit earnings to our school.
