Dear KRS families,

This week at KRS was a particularly fun and busy week. Read Across America activities included visiting author Tara Lazar, a visit by Madison rotarians to read to to the second graders, and students dressing as their favorite book characters.

A player from the Harlem Wizards basketball team conducted an assembly on Tuesday to promote the Harlem Wizards basketball game event on April 25, 2024 at 7 PM at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Information about the event is included in this newsletter.

The KRS STEAM Fair is next week on March 13, 2024. We are looking forward to viewing and learning about the participating students' STEAM projects.

On Monday, March 11, 2024, the Madison Schools are closed for students for teacher professional development. The students will return to KRS on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Have a great long weekend!

Sincerely,

Kathy Koop
