What is 4-H about and who can join? Does it cost to join?

Joining 4-H means you will be joining a 4-H community of youth and adults in an educational outside of school experiential learning program who are committed to:
  • support youth in our 4-H experiential learning model
  • maintain our safety of minors program,
  • provide leadership and mentoring opportunities,
  • guidance through project areas, and our 4-H program in general.

Youth can explore a variety of project areas through hands-on learning and have a lot of fun while building skills that will last a lifetime!

4-H is open to all youth grades Kindergarten through one year post high school.

There is no cost to join Redwood County 4-H although clubs may have club dues to help pay for their expenses.
  • Special events may have additional costs within that program such as Fall Trap League.

4-H youth and families are welcome to participate in one or more project areas, programs, and events.
