West Belmar

Dear West Belmar Families,

I hope this message finds you well as we continue to enjoy the beautiful fall season. It’s an exciting time at our school with several upcoming events that celebrate community, culture, and fun!

Next week, we will be recognizing Unity Week from October 20th to 24th, a time to promote kindness, inclusion, and unity within our school. Each day, we will have activities and lessons that highlight the importance of standing together and fostering a positive, inclusive school environment. We encourage everyone to participate in the theme days.

On Thursday, October 23rd, our Bear Cubs will be celebrating Los Días de Muertos, a beautiful tradition to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. The students have been working hard on special projects for this day, and we invite you to visit our ofrenda, which will be on display.

Finally, to cap off the month, don’t miss our annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31st at 1:45 PM. Students are welcome to bring their costumes to school, and we can’t wait to see the creative, spooky, and fun outfits as we parade around the school grounds!

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in making our school such a vibrant community. We look forward to seeing you at these events and celebrating together!
