Football Sweeps VOMS!!!
On Wednesday, our Football teams...Congrats to our 7th grade flag football team with a win against Valley Oak 14-6. Defense stepped up with Rodriguez and Liam leading the way. On offense shout out to Ethan, Copper and Butler. Short practice today after school. Congrats to 8th grade Football defeating Valley Oak 24-0 shout out to Quinn 2 interceptions, Robert Lopez 4 touchdown passes. Oscar Sanchez with a pick!
Volleyball Split with VOMS!!!
On Wednesday, our Volleyball teams...Overall, the team showed incredible teamwork, communication, and hard work on the court. Congratulations to our 8th grade volleyball team on an awesome first win! We can't wait to see what the rest of the season will bring. Our 7th grade team played hard and came up a bit short but they did a great job also!

Deadline is September 14, 2026
If you are interested in the DC Philadelphia Spring Break trip- you have one week left to sign up. The deadline to sign up is Monday, September 14th. We are still adding in participants and about half of the spots are already filled. Please share the invitation with other friends and family. The trip is open to everyone and other students/families from other schools can participate. There is an information paper in the main office and a sign-up form. Do NOT sign up online. Use the paper form in the main office to sign up and return the $50 nonrefundable deposit for each traveler. Once we have determined that we have enough participants, we will fill out the official information online and each person can set up a payment plan. (Every student needs an adult traveling with them). Traveling and seeing the world provides your family with priceless knowledge and experiences!

No phones during instructional time at Green Acres!
Research on cell phones and learning for middle schoolers has shown that phone use distract learners. There are studies that indicated it lowers academic performance. When students have access to cell phones, they will still check them often which causes a distracted learner. At Green Acres, our no-phone policy removes these interruptions so that kids can focus, learn more, and build face to face connections during the school day. A distracted learner can not fully demonstrate their Ambitiousness. At Green Acres we believe our students have HEART for learning!
