A Message from Superintendent Mr. Rose
Dear Wilson Families,
As we wrap up the second quarter and begin our holiday break, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly special December across Wilson Elementary School District.
This season has been filled with joy, connection, and unforgettable moments—from festive sing-alongs at Wilson Primary to holiday dances at Wilson Elementary, and our district-wide holiday party. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, every classroom was gifted this holiday season, creating meaningful moments for our students that they will remember for years to come.
To our families, thank you for trusting us with your children each day. Your partnership means everything to us. Our students are the greatest gifts of this season—and every season—and it is a privilege to serve them and watch them grow.
To our incredible teachers and staff, thank you for pouring your hearts into your work and for creating spaces where students feel safe, supported, and filled with holiday magic. Your dedication, compassion, and commitment make Wilson a truly special place.
And to our community partners, thank you for coming alongside us and helping create memorable experiences for our students and families. Your support strengthens our district and reflects the power of community.
As you spend time with loved ones, I hope this holiday break brings rest, joy, and meaningful moments. We are grateful for each of you and look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, January 5, 2026, ready to begin the new year together.
Wishing you and your families a wonderful holiday season.
With appreciation,
Mr. Rose
Superintendent

A Season of Giving: Holiday Parties Across Wilson
The holiday season came to life at both of our schools as classrooms filled with laughter, celebration, and joy during our annual Holiday Parties. Each year, every classroom is sponsored by generous community partners who step in to ensure that every student receives a gift and experiences the magic of the season.
These celebrations are more than just parties—they are moments that remind our students how deeply they are cared for. We are incredibly grateful to our partners who made this tradition possible and to our staff who helped create a warm, festive experience for every child. At Wilson, this is what it means to wrap around our students and families—the Wilson Way.
Wilson Primary Holiday Concert
Our Wilson Primary students took the stage and filled the room with holiday cheer during this year’s Holiday Concert. Families gathered as our young Wildcats sang their hearts out, showcasing their hard work, confidence, and joy.
Watching our students perform is always a powerful reminder of how the arts help build self-expression and confidence at an early age. Thank you to our music teachers, staff, and families for supporting our students and making this performance such a special celebration of the season.
Community Strong: Thank You, Phoenix Police
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Phoenix Police Foundation for their generosity and support during our first Community Action Meeting at the Wilson Community Center last weekend. Families in attendance were gifted Safeway gift cards, and students enjoyed a special visit from the ice cream truck serving Otter Pops—bringing smiles all around!
We would also like to thank the City of Phoenix for also participating in our Shop with a Cop event last week. Students were able to shop for holiday gifts, alongside cops for a fun day filled with smiles and joy. We are grateful for the continued partnership and for everyone who joined us to make this gathering such a success. At Wilson, we truly believe—we are all in this together.
Food Pantry Night Brings Holiday Support and Smiles to Wilson Families
This week, families gathered at the Wilson Community Center for Food Pantry Night, giving them the opportunity to stock their kitchens with essential food items ahead of the holiday season. The evening was filled with warmth, gratitude, and community as families selected pantry staples to help support their households during this busy time of year.
Adding to the holiday cheer, Santa made a special visit, surprising students with gifts and spreading smiles throughout the evening. For many families, the night offered not only needed resources, but also a moment of joy, connection and celebration.
Events like this reflect the heart of the Wilson Way—supporting the whole family and ensuring every child feels cared for, especially during the holidays. Thank you to our staff, volunteers and community partners who helped make this night meaningful for our families.
