Welcome to the fourth quarter. This is when it really counts.

Before you know it, the semester will be over. I implore you to ask yourself these questions:

  • Am I at a 60% or above in all my classes?
  • Do I need to reach out to my teachers?
  • What can I do to learn and be more successful?

This is your education and your future. Make it count.

Be well,

Frog

Feedback in Accelerate 11/19/24

  • Feedback is a VERY important part of your grade.
  • Make sure you are checking to see if you have received any, especially if your grade is low.
  • Here's a video on how to find teacher feedback ----> FEEDBACK VIDEO

Retries in Accelerate 11/12/24

  • Keep and eye out for these in your activity feed.
  • Teachers may give them without notice.
  • You can ALWAYS ask for them.
  • The system will always keep the higher score, so it doesn't hurt to try.

Emma J. - 10th Grade

Emma is a recent transfer into the Cyber Academy. An avid fan of our animal friends, she showed the wisdom of an owl to learn how to be a good cyber student before setting out on her own. Now that she has her freedom, she knows we are still there if she needs to check in from time to time.

Mrs. Lewis is your college info guru!

If you are in the process of applying to college/post-secondary schools, please send Ms. Lewis an email (lewisw@casdschools.org) to let her know. She can answer any questions you have about the process, talk about schools that are appropriate for your major, etc. She has to send your official transcript to each school once you apply, so it's important that she's in the loop!

Course Requests for the Spring Semester

Students in grades 9-12 must choose new elective courses for the spring semester, which begins on January 24, 2025. A course sheet and a link to a Google doc will be emailed to your school email address in the coming days. Course requests are due no later than Monday, 1/6/25. If you do not submit course requests, courses will be chosen for you. It's critical that students in grades 9-11 maintain a full course load of 7 credits per year in order to stay on track for graduation.

Seniors, if you played your cards right, you may not need more electives to meet graduation requirements in June. Please take a minute to complete the Google doc anyway. Ms. Lewis will confirm your credits and only add the course that you need. 🍨

Thank you!!
