Fisher Family Update

Every month Sportsmanship Superstars are selected, one from each grade. These students demonstrate respect and fair play to opponents, teachers, equipment and graciousness in both victory and defeat.

The 5th Grade Student Council is sponsoring a FOOD DRIVE
to benefit the Walpole Food Pantry….
Friday, Nov. 14th through Friday, Nov. 21st
Kindergarten: soups, broths and cereals
Grade 1: canned fruits & veggies, applesauce
Grade 2: toilet paper, napkins & paper towels
Grade 3: salad dressing, condiments, spices, syrup
Grade 4: peanut butter/jelly , tea/coffee, mac & cheese
Grade 5: laundry detergent, dish soap & personal care items (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, feminine products)
**PLEASE check the expiration dates on your items!!
** Diapers of all sizes are always welcome!!
** The Pantry would appreciate any monetary
donations. These can be made directly through their website!
These are only suggestions, please know that ANY and ALL donations are greatly appreciated! Please bring donations to Room 122 or keep them in your homeroom where they will be collected by Student Council members!

Fisher School invites you to our old-fashioned, Holiday Singalong, that we may ALL raise our voices together, letting EVERYONE in your family experience the joy of having THE ENTIRE FAMILY sing together,…and make memories that will last a lifetime!

6:00-6:45pm and 7:15-8:00pm
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring a blanket big enough to seat your family, like at a summer picnic. Stake your spot in the auditorium!
Your blanket is for YOUR family (and grandparents, cousins, older and younger siblings,...)
This isn’t a “run around with your friends” night, but rather a night to snuggle up as a family - among the larger “Fisher family” - and sing a variety of songs that are celebrated by our families here in our school. Hearing parents, grandparents, cousins and siblings sing all together brings our ENTIRE Fisher family together and gives us memories that will last a lifetime!
(PARENTS: Choose which timeslot works best for your family. Those with toddlers may wish to come to the first one in order to get their children to bed. But…it’s a “WHATEVER WORKS BEST FOR YOUR FAMILY” laidback event! I can’t wait to see you!)

Hello Fisher families! Check out the online Scholastic Book Fair link! Shop titles and Fisher School will get 25% of the sales proceeds! Be sure to also check out the in-person Book Fair during parent teacher conferences next week on November 18th from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
The 5th Grade has partnered with Pampered Chef for a fundraiser that coincides with the upcoming holiday shopping season. Pampered Chef can help make our time in the kitchen more efficient and also help us with some great holiday gift ideas!
